After the tragic death of her parents, 19 year old Katalena Hoffmann leaves her
home in Germany and moves to the United States to begin a new life with her
three best friends that she met four years earlier while she was an exchange
student. She meets hockey player Steve Jennings and they quickly fall in love.
When Steve gets a promotion to the major leagues, Katalena is heartbroken. She
leaves and spends the next six months in Germany trying to forget about Steve.
Upon her return to America, she meets hockey player Greg Owens and they begin to
date. But when Steve returns Katalena's old feelings for him resurface. Now she
must choose between two men who want to marry her and spend the rest of their
lives together.
